VDBorne Campus facilitates meetings and networking and ensures cross-border collaborations with like-minded people within our international community. To this end, we actively work on community building and offer an inspiring environment where like-minded people can meet each other in a low-threshold manner at various activities and events.

The VDBorne Campus is the place for everything around precision farming. Here you will find a vibrant network of like-minded people who meet regularly, exchange experiences, gain inspiration and work together. In whatever way they can. In the workshops innovations are worked on and in the field labs the latest technologies are tested. Here, farmers experience in practice the added value of precision farming.

When you join the community, you get access to all the knowledge and expertise through the Smart Farming Academy and can join events and meetings to meet the network.

GLB PILOT 'CIRCULAIR SCHAKELEN'.

In de Kempen hebben boeren, natuurbeheerders en overheden de handen ineengeslagen in de GLB-pilot Circulair Schakelen. Samen werkten ze aan oplossingen voor bodemuitputting, mestoverschot en verlies van biodiversiteit. Met reststromen zoals mest en maaisel werd geëxperimenteerd op landbouwgrond. Er zijn stappen gezet richting kringlooplandbouw, met oog voor natuur én toekomst. Denk aan emissiearme mest, compost uit reststromen en slimme maatregelen voor akkervogels.

De pilot laat zien hoe samenwerking in de praktijk werkt. Geen papieren plannen, maar concrete acties. En vooral: boeren die meedenken, meedoen en meeprofiteren. Deze pilot vormt nu de basis voor een gebiedsplan met perspectief. Een voorbeeld voor andere regio’s!
