OUR VISION

VDBorne Campus envisions a sustainable world in which agriculture and horticulture are an integral and dynamic part of the landscape and society. Farmers, together with other stakeholders in the region, create a sustainable environment. Based on integral access to big data, dashboards and artificial intelligence, precision farming techniques are used to make agriculture and horticulture exist sustainably and in harmony with the environment.

VDBorne Campus is a campus that works together with stakeholders from the agrifood complex and the living environment to make agriculture and horticulture more sustainable and future-proof. This by applying education, innovation and working together to develop and apply the latest precision agriculture techniques. In short:

ABOUT VDBORNE

Jacob van den Borne is a pioneering farmer with over 900 hectares of land in the Netherlands and Belgium. This is where he started precision farming back in 2009 and where he has continued to introduce new techniques, collect data and specialize over the years.
