PRECISION FARMING FIELD CENTER

VD Borne Campus provides test facilities and is an innovation centre for precision agriculture in the open field. This will accelerate the adoption and application of precision agriculture in the Netherlands (and beyond), as well as enable the benefits of precision agriculture to be exploited on a larger scale.

For now, the adoption of precision agriculture (combination of site-specific measurements and variable crop measures) remains limited to a small part of agriculture. To accelerate this, more applied knowledge, research and innovation is needed. This will be realised at the practice centre.
